I know of several companies that HAVE outsourced things like thier helpdesk. Follow this "Logic": * Existing helpdesk has a Good Problem turnaround. * Fire them all * Outsource to a Company, Oh, lets say HP who manage several companies at once and then the Turnaround is messured in Weeks. But Thank Goodness they "save" money! It's just Dumb. Yep, “Outsourcing” is the current managerial Buzz word of CEO’s. I know of several companies that HAVE outsourced things like thier helpdesk.
